About

By his own estimate, Marco has assigned, written or edited more than 3,000 career-related stories since 2001. More importantly, he's spoken with hundreds of career experts, job seekers, disgruntled employees and happy-to-be-here workers, giving him vast knowledge and solid understanding of past, present and future job markets, the evolving workplace and the redefined role of today's worker.

After spending more than a decade as the editor of the Sunday CareerBuilder page that was shared by more than 30 Tribune and McClatchy newspapers, Marco continues to provide stories to the Chicago Tribune, Baltimore Sun, Miami Herald and several other newspapers as a freelance writer for Tribune Content Agency.

Marco has covered employment issues within the bank industry as well as HR issues in all fields. He also served as editor on "Calling All Grads: Turn a Degree into a Job," an ebook that focused on job-search strategies for college graduates and work advice for newly hired employees.
